The first step is to get a clear understanding of the end product and plan out how exactly to achieve it technically.
The second step is to create or obtain a virtual model of the object you would like printed. You may already have a virtual model. If not, we can create one for you.
- 1. A virtual model already exists and/or can be purchased;
- 2. We help to create a virtual model (scan and digitize a physical object and/or design it).
The third step is to create a virtual object from the model.
This service is not provided by designers, but by material scientists and technologists. They must determine what properties the object should have, where it will be located, how it will be used, etc.
The fourth step - "Print" - includes several steps:
- 1.Preparation for printing (determining optimum orientation of the object during printing slicing etc.
- 2.Creating G-code (computer programming language used in preparing a file for 3D printing);
- 3.Printing;
- 4.Post-processing if needed
